Practice Patience
It is important to remember to practice patience. Though, it can be easy to assume that all we need to do is simply stop, take a deep breath and let go of whatever frustration or conflict is currently occurring, we must also recall that patience is not fleeting. We must practice it in order to maintain our peace and independence away from toxic situations. If we continue to place in our minds that not every situation needs a reaction or that we can rise above whatever we are undergoing which destroys our peace, we may be able to stay in tranquility and even humble ourselves. Granted, there are dire times when our attention is needed, but when one is actively practicing peace, one is not swayed to make rash decisions. When we are in a tranquil state-of-mind, we are able to calculate and respond to situations, accordingly.
